Puppy Pre
School
Thanks for your interest in Puppy
Pre-School
Puppy Pre-School is a four week
course held at the clinic either outside in the
back-yard during warmer weather or inside during
inclement weather, aimed at puppies between the
ages of 8 and 16 weeks of age, and is primarily
designed to help socialise your puppy with other
dogs and humans, learn the basics of obedience
(No, sit, come) and to familiarise them with the
smells and sights of a Vet Clinic.
During the
course, you will be given information on
parasite prevention, desexing, dental care and
what to feed your puppy in order for them to
become happy, healthy and well behaved dogs, as
well as receiving a goody bag with samples.
Children over the age of 6 are
encouraged to attend the classes and be involved
with your puppy's training as it will help them
to understand how to interact with dogs in
general and yours in particular.
Too often,
children are bitten by dogs because they don't
understand when to leave a dog alone and when it
is ok to play. By having your child with you at
Puppy Pre-School, they too will learn how to
interact with a dog safely and help to prevent
any accidents in the future.
For the health
and safety of the other puppies, we require all
puppies attending Puppy Pre-School to have at
least had their first vaccination (C3)
For any
questions, bookings and costing, please call the
clinic on (08) 9317 1200
Thanks,
Carrie-Anne
Lachance (RVN).
